03Rehabilitation
From injury back to performance.
Physiotherapy at Kinetic Edge is delivered inside a performance environment. The assessment considers the injury and what you are going back to — and rehabilitation runs as a progression with criteria at each stage, through to a return to training and sport.

01What this covers
Inside physiotherapy & sports rehabilitation.
- 01
Injury Assessment
Understanding the injury, how it behaves, what provokes it and what you need to get back to.
- 02
Pain Management
Settling symptoms so that meaningful rehabilitation can begin and progress.
- 03
Progressive Rehabilitation
Load reintroduced deliberately and in stages, building tolerance rather than testing it.
- 04
Movement Correction
Addressing how you move, so the same problem is less likely to present again.
- 05
Post-operative Rehabilitation
Structured progression that works alongside the plan set by your surgeon or doctor.
- 06
Performance Rehabilitation
Rebuilding strength, power and conditioning to the level training and competition actually require.
- 07
Return-to-Sport Training
Reintegration into full training and competition, with prevention work carried forward.
- 08
Criteria, not Calendar
Progression through each stage is earned by meeting criteria, rather than granted by time passing.

02The rehabilitation pathway
Six stages,
each one earned.
Progression is decided by criteria being met, not by weeks passing. Every stage has to hold up before the next one starts.
01
Assess
Establish the injury, the irritability, the restrictions and the timeline the sport is working to.
02
Restore
Settle symptoms and restore range, control and basic capacity in the affected area.
03
Reload
Reintroduce load progressively, building tolerance in the tissue and confidence in the movement.
04
Rebuild
Rebuild strength, power and conditioning to the level the sport actually demands.
05
Re-test
Test against criteria rather than against the calendar. Progression is earned, not assumed.
06
Return
Reintegrate into full training and competition, with prevention work carried forward.

03Alongside the performance floor
Treatment that does not stop at the plinth.
Because the clinical space and the performance floor belong to the same system, rehabilitation can be loaded properly and progressed under supervision. Treatment and training are planned against each other rather than in separate rooms.
- Assessment with the sport in view
- Loaded rehabilitation, supervised
- Prevention work carried forward
- Continuity between clinic and floor
Start With an Assessment
Rehabilitation begins with understanding the injury, the sport and the timeline you are working to.
